Strepsiptera
Strepsiptera, Fächerflügler, ca. 400 Arten umfassende Ordnung der Insekten, Unterklasse Pterygota. Stark reduzierte Vorderflügel, fächerartig faltbare Hinterflügel; f 1,5–3 mm, m 1–7 mm lang. Die Entwicklung, eine vollkommene Verwandlung, vollzieht sich endoparasitisch in anderen Insekten. Auch die f einiger Arten bleiben im Wirtskörper, während alle m und die f anderer Arten frei leben.
